Around 100 children enjoyed the camps across two weeks of a sporting activities at HMS Sultan, the home of Royal Naval Air and Marine engineering training.
The Commanding Officer, HMS Sultan, Captain Jo Deakin OBE said: “We are delighted to support our local Naval families and it is great that RNRMC is hosting a Kings Camp here at HMS Sultan again this year. This initiative provides much needed support to our highly valued personnel and their wonderful families who support them throughout the year.
Having spoken with many of the children attending they are thoroughly enjoying all activities, approaching everything with great enthusiasm. It’s wonderful that we are able to offer them an experience which is clearly a highlight of their holidays."
The RNRMC is very proud of the support provides through Activity Camps with Kings which are provided as part of our drive to strengthen Naval families.
We wouldn’t be able to reach so many families without the help of establishments like HMS Sultan and we are very grateful for all of their support.
