The 8th Annual Coastal Forces Squadron Commanding Officers Alumni Dinner was held aboard the historic HMS Warrior at HMNB Portsmouth.
The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity provided funds toward this special event, that brought together former Commanding Officers of the Coastal Forces Squadron for a memorable evening of reflection and celebration.
This year’s dinner marked a particularly significant occasion, as it was the largest Alumni Dinner to date, with 100 officers in attendance. The addition of the Royal Navy Gibraltar Squadron to the Coastal Forces Squadron made the event even more unique, highlighting the Squadron’s expanding role and reach.
“A fantastic evening was had by all in attendance and special thanks goes out to our sponsors - RNRMC, the Gosling Foundation, ARNO and the RNA, without whom the dinner would not have been possible.”
Jacob Mikurenda, Lieutenant Royal Navy, Commanding Officer, HMS RANGER
Speeches were delivered by the Commander of the Coastal Forces Squadron and the senior officer attending, the Chief of Defence Staff. Their addresses focused on the Squadron's progress over the past year, its recent achievements, and its ongoing development.
