The RN Infinite Network recently hosted a two-day conference, focusing on the support and resources available to service personnel. The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) were proud to be in attendance at RNAS Yeovilton, and we were delighted to take part in this important event.
The conference was created to show the help available to service families and how we can better support parents and carers. The event also included information about what neurodiversity is and how it effects different people.
Featuring stands from RNRMC, Kids charity, the Naval Children's Charity (NCC), and Team Fisher from the Education Centre at RNAS Yeovilton, showcasing the support they offer. Both RNRMC and Kids delivered presentations, and attendees also heard a lived experience talk, followed by a Q&A session.
Throughout the day, RNRMC, Kids charity, and the NCC were actively engaged by service personnel seeking more information and support. These meaningful interactions have led to plans for follow-up one-to-one meetings, where they will provide tailored assistance and explore how their services can best meet the individual needs of those who reached out. This reflects the positive impact of the event, fostering deeper connections and ensuring that the personnel receive the ongoing help they require.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with passionate individuals, spread awareness about our mission, and foster meaningful conversations about supporting neurodiverse communities. The positive response we received was truly inspiring, and we’re excited to continue building on this momentum to make an even greater impact. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, engaged with us, and supported our cause. Together, we are making a difference.
