Thanks to funding from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) and the Royal Navy Royal Marines Sports Lottery - selected Fleet Air Arm (FAA) became sporting ambassadors for the Malaya Cup match in Guernsey.
This historic event, contested annually since 1963 against the Guernsey Football Association, forms part of the HMS Charybdis and HMS Limbourne Memorial Weekend.
The weekend was not just about competition; it integrated ceremonial and engagement activities, showcasing the FAA’s commitment to remembrance and outreach with squad members attending the Memorial Dinner, and the solemn Memorial Service at Les Foulons Cemetery.
