The event aimed to strengthen bonds within the squadron, which includes members ranging from junior Aircraft Engineering Technicians (AET) to Lieutenant Commanders (Lt Cdr). The day kicked off with a series of activities at the park’s renowned lake obstacle course, designed to test the physical endurance and teamwork of participants.
Following the morning's exertions, the squadron proceeded to a nearby cider farm where a barbecue lunch and field games competition awaited them. This segment of the day was crafted to encourage healthy competition and foster team spirit among the participants, providing a relaxed yet engaging atmosphere for interaction outside the usual professional environment.
The day culminated with an evening event at the Senior Rates Mess back at RNAS Yeovilton. The festivities included a live band and external catering, ensuring that all ranks and rates within the squadron could enjoy an evening of entertainment and socialising.
