The RNRMC's Through Life Committee have granted £286,435 to projects that support members of the Royal Navy community, following a meeting earlier this week.
In the last of 2022's Through Life Committee meetings, the Committee reviewed 16 funding bids from various organisations requesting grants ranging from £10,000 to £67,000. Bids are scored in advance of the meeting and then presented to the Committee with detailed analysis of project need, eligibility, and financial stability. 11 of the 16 bids were successful in this round of funding.
Projects selected for funding will support the Royal Navy community across the UK and abroad, helping tackle issues ranging from addiction recovery and mental health challenges, to financial hardship and social isolation.
The Through Life Committee is comprised of serving Royal Navy personnel, Royal Navy veterans, naval charity partners, and sector leaders in social care and health. The Through Life Committee process bids from charities and organisations, both military and civilian, that seek RNRMC funding to support services and projects that aim to help the Royal Navy community.
The next Through Life Committee will take place in early 2023. For information on dates and how to apply for a grant as an organisation please keep an eye on: www.rnrmc.org.uk/apply-grant/support-organisations
