This the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity are funding the Fireworks Display at HMS Excellent, Whale Island on Friday 1st November. The event is open to all personnel who work on Whale Island, Horsea Island and HMNB Portsmouth, their families and friends (who must be accompanied by their host).
The event will include a Fire Display, Light Show, Face Painting, Magician/Balloon Artist, DJ, Disco, stalls and of course the all important Fireworks.
A selection of outdoor vendors will be offering gourmet coffee, hot chocolate, specialty hot drinks, Smokehouse and Grill, Cajun and Creole food, Pizzas, jacket potatoes and burgers and a large tinnie style bar for colder refreshments. The messes will be closed until after the fireworks display and will only be open for mess members and their guests only.
Tickets are now available from COPA, Building 30 and entry will be by ticket only at a cost of £4 for adults and £2 for children (Family Passes will be available at £10.00 for 2 adults and 2 children). A proforma must be completed for all tickets purchased for security access purposes. Tickets can be purchased on the night at the higher cost of £7 for adults and £4 for children (there will be no family ticket available on the evening). Please also note that tickets will also be available for purchase from Leach Building Reception.
