Relate is the UK's largest provider of relationship support. Through our funding, they provide free face-to-face, online and telephone counselling to serving and former personnel and their families. This includes help with relationships, help with family life and parenting, help with separation, and divorce and help for children, young people, and young adults. It also includes bereavement and loss support, should the worst happen.

The Royal Naval Association provides companionship, comradeship and unity to everyone with a naval story, supporting them through life’s highs and lows.

Sailors’ Children’s Society is a national charity that provides support to children whose parent has made a living at sea or from the inland canals or rivers. They help mariners from fishing fleets, Royal Navy and Merchant Navy families including ferries, cruise ships, cargo ships and offshore industries.

When a parent dies, the impact on their child is significant. When that parent served in the Armed Forces, the impact is even greater with children often feeling they’ve lost their connection to the military community. Scotty’s Little Soldiers prevents that. 

Southampton Family Trust provide information, parenting courses, couple work and one-to-one support for the various life stages, difficulties and joys that family life brings.
