Christmas competition

This competition is open to children aged 5-14 years old and under who are UK residents.

The design must be an original and not a copy of an existing design.

All entries must be submitted on the submission sheet (above) and accompanied by a complete entry form.

Entries must arrive by Tuesday 27th August. Entries received after this date will not be included in the competition.

Entries must be submitted via post to the address on the submission sheet (above).

We take no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of entry is not proof of receipt.

Unfortunately, we are not able to return your entry to you.

The Prize for this competition is for the winner to have their design printed as a Christmas card by the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity. The winning design will be scanned and digitally printed onto the cards. Therefore, the printers may need to make minor adjustments to the design to ensure the best quality print.

The winner will receive 50 cards of their printed design along with a certificate.

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

The winning design will have the child’s first name and age included on the Christmas card. If you do not wish your child’s real name to be used, let us know and we can use a different name.

All entries will be judged by a panel. The decision of the judges is final – no correspondence will be entered into.

The winners will be notified by email by Thursday 5th September. If a winner and his or her parents/ guardian cannot be reached or fail to acknowledge such notification within seven days of this email being sent to them, RNRMC will select a new winner for the prize (and the same acceptance period will apply).

Once the winner has accepted their notification of their winning, it will be announced on our social media and website by middle of September. However, the details of the winning design will not be disclosed before the launch of the Christmas card.

RNRMC reserves the right to display or promote entries of this competition when it feels it will help promote the charitable aims of the organisation.
